A Fish Story

The shark painstakingly crawled up the wall and then, inevitably, fell back. Fins were woefully inadequate for the task. Furthermore, she realized, the hoped-for lungs had simply not materialized, and the lack of air was becoming uncomfortably apparent. She knew now, writhing on the ground, that she had completely misunderstood the lecture on the theory of evolution.
